SUNDAY BESTS 05 // Indyx-ing my closet
I started auditing my closet and now I can't stop
Have you heard of Indyx?
I’ve just started using it and I’m kind of obsessed. It’s an app that allows you to digitize your closet, plan outfits, and track the cost-per-wear. Well, it does a lot more than that, but those are the functions I’m currently most utilizing. I talked a few weeks ago about my desire to hone in on my personal style again. For me, this began with a huge closet audit — donating a ton of jeans and items that don’t feel like me anymore, inventorying what I currently have that I know I’ll still wear, and purchasing a few new key pieces to complete my capsule wardrobe.
I love the cohesive, visual snapshot that Indyx gives me of my wardrobe. This isn’t to say that I won’t one day feel like wearing a bright red dress — I might, and that’s totally fine! But for everyday wear, I love seeing that I’m building a consistent aesthetic. Having these items organized and ready to choose from will bring ease, clarity, and simplicity to getting dressed each day.

what I’m looking forward to //
Going to Mexico City in a few weeks — please send me any recommendations or spots not to miss!!
best bites //
We had people over this past Saturday to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it was the first time we’ve had a bunch of people over in… years?! We’ve hosted small dinners here and there since November was born, but the last time we had 20+ people over was for my birthday in the Fall of 2022. I found myself looking back at photos of previous charcuterie boards I’ve made to remember all the items I like to use on them! I forgot how much I enjoy hosting and feeding a room full of people. Note to self to not let years go by again.

what I’m reading + watching //
READING // Ordinary Love and I’ve been absolutely loving it. I’m not totally sure where it’s going, and I don’t want to learn any spoilers by reading the book jacket again — but so far it’s about an Upper East Side couple navigating family, loss, ambition, and friendship.
WATCHING // LOVING Call Her Alex on Hulu about Alex Cooper of Call Her Daddy. I’ve always been a bigger fan of her as a person and entrepreneur than I have of the podcast itself. I think that statement alone speaks to how dynamic and interesting her personality is, and how she’s been wildly successful in bottling her essence into the Call Her Daddy brand.

Until next time!
